Georgia State University Campus
I ended up attending Georgia State University in the fall of 2016. I was still unsure what to do when I started applying, so I was a little red about applying to a large university.
However, I found a home at Georgia State University in Atlanta. I had a wonderful experience studying at GSU and learned so much in the classroom and from the professors.
I graduated in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and a minor in Psychology.
My major was an interdisciplinary degree that included classes from the Social Work and Public Policy programs. My favorite memories from my time at GSU include Being a part of a team for the first time in high school and realizing that I could be a leader! I also learned how to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures—taking my first public policy course. I remember it like yesterday because we had to write policy papers on interesting topics.
